Your question is short but for me to explain I would have to write a short essay here. NOT.
The theory is you set up a Domain on the server. Group Policy Management is what you need to study up, then the other machine joins the Domain. But you have a lot of work ahead before you get there. I really would suggest you go to the Windows Server 2008 site at Microsoft and start looking around. All answers for you are there. When you do go to that site you will understand why I do not want to try and explain in this little space here. Theory is simple but to put into practice bud you will end up going to that site many, many times. Trust me. Stick with it though you will really learn a great deal and not just about the server. It involves DNS, DHCP, WINS, and many more. Remember when your head starts to spin or your speaking becomes difficult, or your frustration level is high, TAKE A BREAK.
OH Yeh one more thing, you may or may not like the weird computer dreams you will start having. LOL. No joke.
