I have a Windows XP computer and some games get laggy. How do i make my computer run faster so they don’t lag?

I suggest getting Game booster if you haven’t already. Also, check what your computer performance is by going to your start bar, over to computer and right clicking, hit properties. Most games would work under:

2.00+ GB Usable

2.50+GHz processor

And a good graphic card (Not so smart with them so ask other about them)

You’ll need a separate VIDEO CARD.

That will have it’s own dedicated memory so it frees up RAM on your computer and will render graphics and videos much more better. It will make a difference to your computer.

Video cards are pretty cheap as well.

What you can do is bring your computer into a specalised computer shop (not the Retail ones) and tell them you want a video card and they can open it and see what cards they have that are going to be compatible with your computer. They should be able to install it for you as well.

If you have the extra money, then RAM memory would also help. But a video card will give you more bang for your buck.
