by forest m: I need help fixing the size of my computer screen after using a projector?

I used a epson projector on computer and the projector made my screen on my computer small and a square. So now when i use my computer my whole computer screen in not being used. How can i make my screen image the full size of my computer screen?

How you fix it depends on the computer operating system you have. I’ll give instructions for Windows XP, but if you have something different you’ll have to figure it out based on this.

1) On the desktop, right click the mouse. Choose “Properties” on the menu.

2) The “Display Properties” window will appear. Click on the “Settings” tab.

3) Near the center-left you will see “Screen resolution”, with a slider bar.

4) Slide the slider-bar until it shows the full resolution of your computer‘s display. You might have to look at the owner’s manual to figure out what it is. If you’re not sure, repeat these steps with different settings until one looks correct.

5) Click on the “Apply” button on the bottom. A new window will appear asking “Do you want to keep this setting?”. If the screen looks correct, click “Yes”. If you don’t click yes within 15 seconds (for example if your screen becomes totally messed-up and unreadable), it will cancel and bring your screen back to the way it was.

6) Click “OK” to make the “Display Properties” window close.
