What is the difference between computer science and computer engineering?

I am interested in knowing about the difference between computer science and computer engineering and which one should I choose if I want to have the computer programmer career or work at adobe or microsoft and get a job at those places and what are some good universities in california that are well known for these courses for example I heard the UC Berkley is good for computer science all that technology stuff and UCLA is good for Biology course and can I know some of the good universities?

If you want the programming career, you shoud go with computer science. Berkeley is good for it, UCLA is pretty good and so is UCSD. Cal Poly SLO is a good one in the CSU. There are also a lot of good colleges in other states too, like MIT, Carnegie Mellon, etc…

Computer engineers do more embedded software stuff. Think of like software for a processor in a jet to control the engine performance. If you want to do more distributed stuff like adobe or microsoft, computer science is the way to go.
