Hey guys. I was wondering what you actually do in a classroom for computer science? Does it involve a lot of work with the computer? Thanks.

Hi,
This depends on the course that you are taking, and what you mean by working with the computer? In the hardware sense, in a CS course you will not get hands on with the hardware, unless it has some engineering aspect to it such as robotics or embedded systems class, which aren’t necessarily core CS courses. Most courses will have some aspect that involves using a computer, from the word processor to write a report to working on your programming assignment. If the course involves learning or using programming language then you will definitely have to use a computer to complete the assignments and projects. If you take a heavily mathematics course, which deals primarily in theory, then you might not use a computer, unless the instructor requires you to type up your answers.
