is it that computer programmer just types in the codes and the engineer makes them or sumthin like that? and does anyone know if theres computer programming jobs in mcallen,texas.

engineers also design them
programmers don’t just use codes

A computer engineer does the hardware (the parts like processor and hard drive). A computer programmer does the software (writes the codes for programs like Microsoft word or any other digitally formatted program).

A computer programmer designs, creates,tests software , while a computer engineer fixes computer hardware problems along with other stuff

i think one can be called computer engi if he/she has done BE , n envolved in programming , n others u r envoled in programming but not done BE they are called computer programmer instead of computer engineer.
