How can I protect the information on my computers hard drive in the case my computer is stolen from my house?

Several Options:
1. Encrypt
2. Store ALL your Data on and External HD. i.e. USB HD
2. Store ALL your Data on an Internet Drive. i.e. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Internet+Drive
3. Something that may take longer to recover from is to obtain a Computer Lojack System. i.e. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Computer+lojack
