hi rosey G, good idea but i have to agree with some of my friends a keyboard is not that big of a deal they are fairly reasonable so i leave my keyboard uncovered but i do have a light bristle paint brush and to remove the dust from the top of the keys i just brush my keyboard off. i have found it works very will not one of the small flimsy ones i have one that is three inches long and as i said it is a very lose bristles and it works great to keep hair and dust or even finger prints off of the keys. good luck i hope i was helpful to you

My two computer keyboards are never covered. I use a pressurized Cleaning Duster by Ativa. It blows the dust from out the keys. One thing you do not want to do is spill coffee on the keyboard. That seems to disable them. They are not that expensive, so I don’t take other precautions.
